Role & contributions

As the Lead Designer for Parkalot, I spearheaded the platform’s end-to-end digital transformation. Collaborating with the SaaS team, I built a cohesive brand ecosystem—from visual identity to a scalable design system that powers the entire web application.

My core responsibilities:

  • Discovery & Strategy: Conducted research on workplace management to define product strategy.
  • Information Architecture: Simplified complex B2B booking flows and admin dashboards.
  • Design Foundation: Established a comprehensive design system (typography, icons, colors) for brand consistency.
  • UI/UX Implementation: Designed responsive, high-fidelity prototypes in Figma that balance B2B functionality with a modern aesthetic.
  • Development Hand-off: Ensured design-to-code accuracy through detailed documentation and iterative developer support.

Process & approach

Business Challenge: Parkalot needed to scale into a robust SaaS platform. The goal was to replace manual processes with an automated, intuitive workflow for B2B parking management.

Discovery & Strategy: I audited existing tools to identify complexity bottlenecks. My focus was on accessibility, ensuring that complex booking logic remained simple for end-users.

UX Design Decisions: I built a modular design system that supports feature scaling. Prioritizing high-contrast UI and clear data presentation ensures that critical information is always scannable.

Collaboration: Working in an agile environment, I used rapid Figma prototyping to bridge the gap between technical backend algorithms and a frictionless user interface.

Final Outcome: The resulting platform provides a scalable foundation that balances technical power with a clean, human-centered experience.

Results & impact

Long-term Scalability:
The brand identity and design system I established have served Parkalot for several years. The visual foundation remains modern and relevant, proving the effectiveness of a scalable, system-first design approach.

Business Growth:
By streamlining the user interface, we improved customer onboarding and increased the platform's adoption rate. The new design successfully strengthened user trust, positioning Parkalot as a leader in workplace management.

Design Ownership:
Leading the brand’s visual direction from zero allowed me to refine my system-level thinking. This project demonstrates my ability to craft a cohesive B2B identity that is both functionally robust and visually memorable.
